Alive Again

When did life become so complicated?
Moments ago problems weren’t real problems. Problems were petty.
Now they come in bigger sizes with much worse shapes.
Shapes of sickness and suffering.
Shapes of death and seeming defeat.
Sizes that cause us to lie awake at night.
Sizes that weigh so heavily our breath catches.
It catches and we wonder how we can ever breathe again.
“The Lord God…breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.”
Alive again.

It's always been complicated sweetie. In God's sovereignty and your youth you have been shielded under His protective wing (Ps. 91:3-4). As we know Him more...love Him more...grow...we see just how little this world as to give. Rejoicing that you are growing!

...we are afflicted in everyway but not crushed, perlexed but not despairing, persecuted but not forsaken, struck down but not destroyed. Always carrying about in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. (2 Cor. 4:8-10

Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison....(2 Cor. 4:16-17)
